zhorvans.net - Dieng adalah kawasan dataran tinggi di Jawa Tengah, yang masuk wilayah Kabupaten Banjarnegara dan Kabupaten Wonosobo. Letaknya berada di sebelah barat kompleks Gunung Sindoro dan Gunung Sumbing.

Dieng adalah kawasan vulkanik aktif dan dapat dikatakan merupakan gunung api raksasa dengan beberapa kepundan kawah. Ketinggian rata-rata adalah sekitar 2.000 m di atas permukaan laut. Suhu berkisar 12—20°C di siang hari dan 6-10°C di malam hari. Pada musim kemarau (Juli dan Agustus), suhu udara dapat mencapai 0°C di pagi hari dan memunculkan embun beku yang oleh penduduk setempat disebut bun upas ("embun racun") karena menyebabkan kerusakan pada tanaman pertanian.

Kisah Inspiratif tentang Kecoa

zhorvans.net - CEO Google memiliki kisah inspiratif tentang kecoa. Ah masa iya sih! Kecoa yang menjijikkan itu? Yap.betul! Kecoa yang lantas mengubah banyak hal dari dirinya tentang bagaimana memandang setiap tantangan dalam kehidupan.

 

Nama Sundar Pichai kini mulai banyak dikenal orang ketika menjabat pimpinan tertinggi raksasa perusahaan Google. Pichai terlahir di Tamil Nadu, India pada tahun 1972. Pichai dikenal oleh karyawan Google sebagai seseorang yang selalu berhasil merealisasikan rencana menjadi kenyataan. Beberapa proyek dia yang sukses yakni browser Chrome, Chrome OS, dan Chromebook.

 

Sundar Pichai memang dikenal sebagai orang yang ramah, cerdas, dan pekerja keras. Ada sebuah kisah inspiratif dari pidato yang indah oleh Sundar Pichai – seorang Alumni IIT-MIT dan mantan Global Head dari Google Chrome. Apa isi pidato tersebut?

Teori kecoa untuk Pengembangan Pribadi

 

Di sebuah restoran, seekor kecoa tiba-tiba terbang dari suatu tempat dan mendarat di seorang wanita.

 

Dia mulai berteriak ketakutan.

 

Dengan wajah yang panik dan suara gemetar, dia mulai melompat, dengan kedua tangannya berusaha keras untuk menyingkirkan kecoa tersebut.

 

Reaksinya menular, karena semua orang di kelompoknya juga menjadi panik.

 

Wanita itu akhirnya berhasil mendorong kecoa tersebut pergi tapi … kecoa itu mendarat di pundak wanita lain dalam kelompok.

 

Sekarang, giliran wanita lain dalam kelompok itu untuk melanjutkan drama.

 

Pelayan bergegas ke depan untuk menyelamatkan mereka.

 

Dalam sesi saling lempar tersebut, kecoa berikutnya jatuh pada pelayan.

 

Pelayan berdiri kokoh, menenangkan diri dan mengamati perilaku kecoa di kemejanya.

 

Ketika dia cukup percaya diri, ia meraih kecoa itu dengan jari-jarinya dan melemparkan nya keluar dari restoran.

 

Menyeruput kopi dan menonton hiburan itu, antena pikiran saya mengambil beberapa pemikiran dan mulai bertanya-tanya, apakah kecoa yang bertanggung jawab untuk perilaku heboh mereka?

 

Jika demikian, maka mengapa pelayan tidak terganggu?

 

Dia menangani peristiwa tersebut dengan mendekati sempurna, tanpa kekacauan apapun.

 

So, para hadirin.. CEO dari India ini kemudian bertanya:

 

“Lalu apa yang bisa saya dapat dari kejadian tadi?”

 

Ia melanjutkan pidatonya..

 

“Dari tempat saya duduk, saya berpikir..

 

Kenapa 2 wanita karir itu panik, sementara wanita pelayan itu bisa dengan tenang mengusir kecoa?

 

Berarti jelas bukan karena kecoanya, tapi karena respon yang diberikan itulah yang menentukan. Ketidakmampuan kedua wanita karir dalam menghadapi kecoa itulah yang membuat suasana cafe jadi kacau.

 

Kecoa memang menjijikkan.

Tapi ia akan tetap seperti itu selamanya.

Tak bisa kau ubah kecoa menjadi lucu dan menggemaskan.

 

Begitupun juga dengan masalah.

 

Atau macet dijalanan, atau istri yang cerewet, teman yang berkhianat, bos yang sok kuasa, bawahan yang tidak penurut, deadline yang ketat, tetangga yang mengganggu, dsb.

 

Sampai kapanpun semua itu tidak akan pernah menyenangkan.

 

Tapi bukan itu yang membuat semuanya kacau. Ketidakmampuan kita untuk menghadapi yang membuatnya demikian.”

 

Yang mengganggu wanita itu bukanlah kecoa, tetapi ketidakmampuan wanita itu untuk mengatasi gangguan yang disebabkan oleh kecoa tersebut.

 

Disitu saya menyadari bahwa, bukanlah teriakan ayah saya atau atasan saya atau istri saya yang mengganggu saya, tapi ketidakmampuan saya untuk menangani gangguan yang disebabkan oleh teriakan merekalah yang mengganggu saya.

 

Bukanlah kemacetan lalu lintas di jalan yang mengganggu saya, tapi ketidakmampuan saya untuk menangani gangguan yang disebabkan oleh kemacetan yang mengganggu saya.

 

Reaksi saya terhadap masalah itulah yang sebenarnya lebih menciptakan kekacauan dalam hidup saya, melebihi dari masalah itu sendiri.

Apa hikmah dibalik kisah inspiratif dari pidato ini?

 

Kita mengerti, kita tidak harus bereaksi dalam hidup. Akan lebih baik kita harus selalu merespon.

 

Para wanita bereaksi, sedangkan pelayan merespon.

 

Reaksi selalu naluriah sedangkan respon selalu dipikirkan baik-baik.

 

Sebuah cara yang indah untuk memahami ………… HIDUP.

 

Orang yang BAHAGIA bukan karena Semuanya berjalan dengan benar dalam Kehidupannya..

 

Dia BAHAGIA karena Sikapnya dalam menanggapi Segala sesuatu di Kehidupannya Benar..!
